Blog Entry 1 - Preface - November 2003 - June 2011

In 2003 I read a book called "The Horse Goddess" by Morgan Llwelyn and the day after I finished it I spewed out a half page synopsis for a screenplay. The synopsis was for a story about "Genghis Khan vs the Mythological Celtic Hero who rode a White Horse who was the Goddess incarnated on Earth". The film's dedication was to "the People of the Horse" and was for the horse lovers of the world and the name Epona was the name of the Goddess who was the White Horse. It was to be a story about "the Darkness vs the Light" with the Evil being Genghis Khan and the Light being the Love from the Goddess who was the White Horse that the Hero rode. There was a "big whoops" here as Genghis Khan and the Celts were too far apart in history and as Genghis Khan was never as bad as the west saw him anyway. I went on from there to research the Celts in Europe and then on further to research the Celts in England. Reading along through history I wandered up into Eastern Scotland and from there I read on to eventually discover a tribe over in South West Kintyre that I decided the story was about. They were the Epidii tribe and history says that they called themselves "the People of the Horse" and that they worshiped Epona the Goddess of Horses; thus I knew that my story had found its true home. Time moved on and I worked on and off on the project until 2007 when a quirky thing happened to my life. I was working on a building site and was bored enough after a quick lunch to read the cultural pages in the center of the otherwise empty daily newspaper. There was a story about "some American actress" who I vaguely knew by name who had somehow managed to recover to become functional again from having had "semi-autism" as a child. Autism has always interested me and the story intrigued me as I could not understand how anyone could go from having "semi-autism" to becoming so functional that they could become a Hollywood actress of all things. I went home and looked the actress up on the Internet which I had not used much at home until then. I quickly found that the pages that came up on the actress were the pages that other people had most recently looked at and that they were pages on biography and filmography and photographs galore. I also found out that the pages told me very little of what I was looking for. Over some nights I researched deeper into the Internet information stream but never found out much more than what I had already read in the newspaper. While I was researching the actress I was also spending time checking out the Internet and learning just how the addiction actually works. Over the next few months I became a part time at night Internet addict looking things up and desperately reading world news when I could think of nothing else on the Internet to do. I still checked back on the actress now and then to see just what she was up to in her unusual and unconventional life of trying to change the world on her own. Time moved on and a time window opened up and I wrote my first write onto screenwriting software of part one of the film which had by then become "Rides a White Horse (a story of salvation)". It was rush ad-lib in timing and I was taken by surprise as there were lots of things that I had not worked out for the story. I ripped off the American actress's personality and meaning for life and quite blatantly made her the Heroine in my film's story. Time moved on and I worked on the screenplay enough to do a polish and then move on again. I was still unconsciously developing the structure and had lots to do on the theme that carried the story on its back. Eventually I came up with the concepts "We Are All One Family" - "This Is Our Earth" as the interwoven themes that permeate the Epidii tribe and the film's story. Time moved on again with me still using the Internet to inadvertently learn the news of the world which I usually avoided as it disturbed me so much. The world was becoming worse and I could not avoid it as it was closing in on my life from all sides. Time moved on yet again and the concepts "We Are All One Family" - "This Is Our Earth" turned me in to a person who has decided that there is no escaping from my deep inner need to do something about the future of the human species and of the Earth. Thus over the time from 2007 until now I have been affected by the ideals of the American actress via the character I created her to be in my screenplay. Thus life becomes film becomes life as man perceives woman and is humbled by the scope of her nurturing ideals; for it is not my concepts "We Are All One Family" - "This Is Our Earth" that I now bring to you; but her concepts; that I merely bring to the world on her behalf.

General Info

I am not the sort of person who is easily influenced by anyone. I am my own person and am not inclined to be a follower at all. I learn by osmosis from life and allow life to create me into whatever life seems to think is a fair thing. This has its good points and it very surely has its bad points, but since I am happy enough with who and what I am I find it all acceptable enough to me. Following is not my thing. I do not relate to followers as they are people who can not or will not think for themselves. Sometimes in life a person comes along who stands out so much to me that I can only acknowledge that they have an influence on me. I am not easily influenced. I am not a follower. Well, maybe just this once. And I am not a willing follower at all...

In regard to site visits

When I was a kid a car wheel went around 10 times out of 10, or it was fixed or replaced. Now we have technology and a world where it is normal and thus supposedly acceptable for things to include some built in dysfunction as a part of the products that we buy. According to the MySpace home page counter the total number of views of this site are "around" 15,780 - depending upon which of the numbers you believe. The globe is a new addition right now and if you add the globe visits number to the MySpace views number you will get a more or less accurate number of the visitors to this site. I hope to see your flag on the globe from now on...

Sentience and You

Sentience is one of those fancy words that philosophers and others use in their attempts to define their own view of reality, in its being a superior view to yours. Sentience is a word that can be found in many places and the word is used in many ways, with many variations in meaning, depending on who is using it at the time. An average meaning for the word is simple and is as follows: There is a hypothetical fictional imaginary horizontal line and to be below that line is to be a human animal; while to be above that line is to be a human being. To be sentient as a life form is to have the ability to reason above the needs wants and desires of your animal biology and psychology. If you can not reason act and be above the animals that nature/god made you as, then you will never evolve into what nature/god gave you the potential to be; as individuals; or as a species.

To be written to the highest hopes, dreams, and ideals, of the People of the Earth. May God, Goddess, or Nothingness, have mercy upon us: for no Government not OF the people, FOR the people, BY the people; ever will. To be written in the pursuing of the Spirit of Justice and For the People in the knowledge that Words on Paper are as NOTHING when compared to the Reality of the Lives of the People. It is to be acknowledged by the writers that A Constitution That Betrays Its People By Not Delivering The Goods Is Better Burned In The Fires Of Revolution Than To Be Suffered In The Lives Of The People. To be written by the following 7 plus billion members of the human race all of whom are to be named below.
