About Arli

Israeli guitar player Arli Liberman, renowned for his intense energy and unique flavors fresh from the middle-east at 24 years old brings a unique playing style, flowing seamlessly from alternative Jazz through to Rock 'n' roll & into the unexplored regions of crossover music. He has performed in over 200 festivals worldwide at some of the worlds biggest events and has collaborated in major projects with musicians from all over the globe in albums that have gone Gold and Platinum. He has worked alongside some of Israelis most successful international artists such as Moshe Ben Ari and Idan Riechal and has collaborated with award winning producers within the music industry.
In 2005 he performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival with the band Whiteflag Project a cross-over Israeli Palestinian band & at the KKL in Switzerland which was broadcasted LIVE on National Swiss TV. In 2007 he was the guitarist for Ras Hasatan ‘A Sinai Journey’ where over 50 musicians from all over the world came together in the Sinai desert in Egypt and created a unique World Music album that could only happen in the Sinai desert - one of these songs went to one of the compilation albums Putumayo. In 2008 he performed at the Creation of Peace Festival in Russia to an audience of 200,000 people along side musicians such as Keith Emerson, King Crimson, Tony Levin, Adrian Belew, Patti Smith & many other great musicians. Recently in 2008 he was the guitarist in the '20 Year Reunion of Zaviot' which was one of Israel's premier jazz groups & was the most successful, original jazz group in Israel during the 80's performing all over the globe. Arli contributed greatly to Zaviot's unique improvisational approach.



WhiteFlag Project in Switzerland at the KKL in Luzern in 2005. This was the first performance of this Israeli/Palestinian band since the outbreak of the Intifada in 2000, since then the band has only been able to play & meet outside the borders of the Middle-East.
