Carl Lindquist is a Swedish singer/musician/producer. Born and raised in Stockholm, Carl has always been keen of music and immersed in a musical environment with his family. While growing up, his influences started with David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Elvis Presley, to grow to diverse styles such as Russell Allen and Dave Grohl. Very fond of guitar, and also player of that instrument along with keyboard, bass and drums, Carl is a singer, first and foremost, and since his very young age. With a very typical and unique voice, Carl Lindquist has learned to differentiate himself from other rock singers with the strength of his vocals. Always seeking new challenges, such as participating on various projects around the world, or covering well known hits, Carl is also a songwriter. With lyrics about nature, mankind, various feelings and issues, his songs are always deep and meaningful for his listeners. Lead singer of the band COEXISTENCE, with a first album entitled "Flow" available in fall 2011. Follow the band at their official website: www.coexistence-project.com His latest participation in a musical project was with VRA / Split-Screen Covers / Dream Theater from Brazil. Together they did a cover of the Dream Theater song, "As I Am". The project has been very well-received all around the world and VRA was even mentioned on National Brazilian TV for their great work. Carl is also currently working on his first solo EP, which he plans to release in spring of 2012. -
