O projeto Cash in Flowers foi criado no início de 2008. Por um grupo de músicos maringaenses, que juntos formavam o Present Tense, banda reconhecida como Cover do Pearl Jam no sul do Brasil. Na ânsia de compor suas próprias músicas, e traçar seu próprio caminho, o grupo iniciou em participações de festival por todo o Brasil - com suas próprias canções. E em meados de 2008 lançou um single independente, com o título "Ellen" - que foi também o título da música de trabalho da banda no ano passado. Este ano (2009) a banda lançou mais um single, com apenas uma canção: a música "Orange Day" - que é título do single também.
Atualmente o Cash está produzindo mais um disco independente, talvez a banda esteja no seu estágio mais produtivo desde sua criação. E prepara um disco completo, com a promessa de pelo menos 12 canções inéditas - que está previsto para Janeiro e Fevereiro de 2010.

The project Cash in Flowers was established in early 2008. For a group of musicians maringaensis, which together formed the Present Tense, recognized as Cover band Pearl Jam in southern Brazil. On the contrary of cheesy standard melodies, these varied tracks put the idea of Trance in a nutshell and distinguish themselves by forcing power and deepness. While most of them represent the creativity of South Africa, also material from Brazil, Chile, the UK and Germany is included.
