Na cena de São Paulo, quando se fala no nome do DJ Julião a reação mistura respeito, admiração e carinho. Lembra pista cheia e animada, com a fileira da frente sorrindo e vibrando junto com o DJ. Não é pra menos: seu trabalho mistura repertório, carisma, técnica e inovação de maneira única. Julião, para começar, faz parte do seleto clube daqueles que "estavam lá". ..Quando a música eletrônica no Brasil não era mais que o passatempo de algumas centenas de obstinados, o jeito Julião de ser e tocar começou a marcar presença. ..O DJ já tocava há alguns anos em festinhas e frequentava os bons espaços underground da cidade. ..O ano era 1993 e Julião, ao lado de outro iniciante, DJ Marky, encarou a missão de introduzir música eletrônica underground para seu público na sua histórica residência na Sound Factory, na Penha. Assim, Julião foi o primeiro a introduzir o drum'n'bass nas pistas daqui, estilo que se hoje e quase pop na época era alienígena como as luas de Júpiter. ..Julião permaneceu na Sound Factory até 1997, onde tocou ao lado de nomes como Little Louie Vega, Erick Morillo, Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Altern 8, Godfather, Disco D, Mark Archer (ALTERN 8), Anthony Rotter, Trentemöller Mark Moore aka S-Spress, Joint Skrufff, Dj Hell, Miss Djaxx, Julian Liberator, Jerome Hill e Armand Van Helden. De lá para cá muita coisa aconteceu: três CDs mixados ("Essential Trip" volumes 1 e 2; e "Toco Underground Hits", mixado junto com Marky), várias experiências no rádio e sets e mais sets de música boa e imprevisível, incluindo residências no Hell's Club e n'A Loca...Depois de ter deixado de lado o drum'n'bass Julião caiu com tudo no techno, através de diversas vertentes como Chicago, Detroit, Ghetto Tech, Hard e Wonky, além de focar no electro de qualidade. ..Sempre com um olho na inovação e outro na pista cheia (aquele equilíbrio entre agradar a si e ao público que faz um DJ ser realmente bom), Julião conquistou fãs em todos os segmentos da cena sem nunca cair no comercial ou nos hits fáceis. Há alguns anos, iniciou o Insomnia, um dos melhores after hours da América Latina, indo do sábado sete da manhã até sete da noite ou mais. Em 2003, Julião se lançou na produção musical com o projeto Evil2 , em parceria com Marcelo LK, que faz parte da coletânea Amp MTV Electro Breaks, lançada pela gravadora Segundo Mundo. Been trail full and lively, with the front row, smiling and chattering with the DJ. Not for less: mixed repertory work, charisma, technical innovation and unique way. Juliao, for starters, is part of the select club of those who "were there." When the electronic music in Brazil was no longer the hobby of a few hundred die-hard, the way of being and Juliao began to play a presence. The DJ was playing a few years at parties and went to the good underground spaces of the city. The year was 1993 and Julian, along with another newcomer, DJ Marky, faced the task of introducing underground electronic music to his audience at his historic residence in the Sound Factory in Penha. Thus, Julian was the first to introduce the drum'n'bass tracks on here, that style is today and almost pop at the time was alien to the moons of Jupiter. Juliao remained in the Sound Factory until 1997, where he played alongside names like Little Louie Vega, Erick Morillo, Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Altern 8, Godfather, Disco D, Mark Archer (Altern 8), Anthony Rotter, Mark Moore aka Trentemöller S-Spress, Joint Skrufff, Dj Hell, Miss Djaxx, Julian Liberator, Kolombo, Jerome Hill and Armand Van Helden. Since then much has happened: three CDs mixed ( "Trip Essential" volumes 1 and 2, and "Toco Underground Hits", mixed with Marky), several experiments and radio sets and more sets of good music and unpredictable, including homes in Hell's Club and n'A Loca. After leaving aside the drum'n'bass Julian fell with all the techno, through disciplines such as Chicago, Detroit, Ghetto Tech, Hard and Wonky, and focus on quality electro. Always with one eye on innovation and another on the track full (that balance between pleasing themselves and the public that being a DJ is really good), Julian won fans in all segments of the scene without ever falling into the commercial or easy hits. A few years ago, started Insomnia, one of the best after hours of America, going from Saturday morning until seven at seven o'clock or more. In 2003, Juliao threw himself into music production with the project evil2 in partnership with Marcelo LK, part of the collection MTV Amp Electro Breaks, launched by the Second World Records., Ja released 3 eps with your project 609 Six-0 - Nine along with the Great DJ Knight, and their songs remixed by DJ Godfather, Mau Mau Ednei and others. thanks to this ongoing work in the underground, there is now a whole new generation of DJs who learned everything with Professor Juliao.
