    I wish I could brag that I go to wonderful, thought provoking arthouse films, but since I rarely get out to the cimema, I watch any barable romantic-comedy when I'm lucky enough to stumble accross a screen of some kind....

    A few favorites are: 'the house of the spirits' (Isobelle Alende); 'the education of little tree' (Forrest Carter); 'memiors of a gaisha' (Artur Golden); 'fried green tomatoes'; 'the timetravellers wife'; etc Oh and ofcourse I like a good smattering of chick-lit in my literary diet! (now I'm all embarrassed..)

About me:

Um.. I suppose the most important, interesting, exciting thing about me is that I'm the mother of gorgeous Rowan who is 8. Our house is in a community in Devon (I love Devon!!), where we have loads of space and trees and gardens. I'm at college studying art and I'm really getting into that - I get all excited on my college days (beats the cleaning jobs I do on the other days). I'm gonna start a degree in craft design in september, so can play with clay and textiles etc to my hearts content! I've got quite into wierd pieces of arty clothing (mainly on the machine). In the summer I end up at lots of festivals and camps, though would love to get away overseas some time (hint). In term time I get all nesty and cook alot and make jam and marmalade etc. I'm very social so i have to get out and see friends and party too. Oh yeah, if I had any money I would be travelling.

    Hi Joy, how's it going? It's nice to see you, even if only online. I looked at your photo, Ro looks so much like Luke did :-). Nick looks just the same, Susie's suddenly all grow'd up...isn't it scary how we all get so old. lol. I'm off to the Steiner school fair tomorrow with Ryan Green from school.     My lovely doy doy, no not on the computer i'm doing the washing up, counciling mum, rubbing lukes feet and watering the lettuces. hmmmm.... what are they going to do without me while im spangling out with the fairtrade coffee in 3 days.     i don't even know - in all honesty - what unicorn camp is. if its anything like your party i would be well up for it. any way, good luck in whales. i've fell out with clubbing too recently, and got a weekend job in the evenings too, so. hope to see soon though, before we all piss off ;D

    helloo! was good to see you again too. even if you were a slightly unrecognisable aristocrat. it was a good night, enjoyed your cat steven singing/dancing back at ash's. yeah i stayed 'till the morning, i was one of the bodies on the sofa. i think i heard you running aound looking for your mink in the morning at some ridiculous hour ...or i dreamt it. i'll see you again sometime. x.
