Malente&Dex are back with this three track EP that's filled with three house tracks,
each with a little ethnic flavour. HABIBI leads things off by conjuring some middle eastern vibes, including spoken samples of the tracks' title and sitar loops. DOO DOO DANCE follows that, taking you to South Africa with the help of guest vocalists (and husband and wife) SPOEK & GNUCCI BANANA, who deliver some fun party rocking vocals over more middle eastern samples. IN NIGHTLCUBS continues with a Balkan vibe, featuring some upbeat horns that give the track a great bouncy feel.

In April EXPLOITED release MALENTE&DEX follow up Habibi and Indian influenced house stomper. On this EP you can also find the jazzy house “In Nightclubs” and gypsi rap hipshaker “Doo Doo Dance” feat Spoek & Gnucci Banana. It’s followed by two separately released remix packages. 2011 MALENTE vs AZZIDO DA BASS new single “Hunting” comes out on DOWNRIGHT (Ministry of Sound Australia) and reaches #3 in the German Club Charts.
May sees the release of “Cherry Pop” with JAY ROBINSON and featuring female rappers Yo! Majesty on FAT! RECORDS. In June ‘Klezzic’ a mix between House, UK funky, Klezmer drops on NO BRAINER RECORDS. It’s another cooperation with JAY ROBINSON and supported by Andy George (BBC Radio1), Crookers, Savage Skulls, BeatauCue.
In September MALENTE starts re-releasing his first four albums as remastered Anniversary Editions with exclusive new bonus material starting with “The Spirit Of Malente”.
Upcoming in October is MALENTE & ZERO CASH. They fuse their styles to bring you a real technoid banger called “I’ll be there’. And there’s more to come. For example MALENTE remixes for Light Year, Crookers and Punks Jump Out ft. Chromeo are on the way.
