Bio
In São Paulo, Ney studied at the Conservatory Souza Lima, Voice Centro de Educação Musical, EM&T, Omid International Audio Academy, was a student of Márcio Alvez, Lupa Santiago, Ciro Visconti and Edu Gomes. He has studied music business, composition, counterpoint, instrumentation, arrangement and orchestration. He was hired by Sony Music to accomplishments in several recordings for internal events and was Cueio Limão's band producer. Together with Kiko Loureiro (Angra), Sérgio Brito (Titãs), Marcelo Barbosa (Khalice/Almah), Márcio Okayama, Michel Leme among other big names, Ney is a columnist of the Bandas de Garagem site where he writes about music, composition, recording and equipment. Besides being a columnist for the site, Ney was editor and producer of the Pod Cast Rota BDG.....In Criciúma he played in dance bands like Pecado Capital and Scorpions. Currently, besides continuing with his columns on the site Bandas de Garagem, Ney acts as a freelancer, guitar coach and is Monte Castelo’s band guitarist.
