In December of 2008 one coincidental and opportune meeting between old friends Jezer, Paulo and David made to be born a common dream that months later become reality: the Overpraise.

Initial Motivation: the possibility to consolidate in an only project the individual experiences acquired by each member in other bands.

Objective: to present with excellence the alive message of God for the man, with songs that speak of faith, hope and, over all, the reality of a radical transformation of the based human being in the unquestioned principles of the Word of God.

Much more than songs, we desire to show to the world a submissive life to the will of God.

From this identity emerges the "Overpraise" name; an english word that means “To praise extremely”, clearly reflecting the accurate definition of what the band desires with this work.

We believe therefore that the Bible is the word of God.

We invite you to testify with us this history that is only starting; we invite you to, not only “To praise extremely”, but to live an authentic and true life with God. We want to be witnesses of the love of God and bless the life of who is listening us.
