.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ................ Renato Fonseca was born in 1975, in the city of Recife, Pernambuco, located in the northeast of Brazil. He began playing at the age 11 with strong influence from his father and at 15 he was already working professionally as a keyboardist playing in night clubs and parties in his town. His style can be classified as a popular musician and he was self-tought at it. At the age 18 he was invited to play with Alceu Valença, a renown name in Brazilian popular music, also from Pernambuco. The following three years were spent in the studio making records with Alceu and on the road playing on tour worldwide. In the year of 1997, Renato took a big step and moved to the city of Rio de Janeiro where he had the opportunity to meet some of the greatest artists in the country and as a result, playing with some of them on Shows and recording sessions in studios. Some of them include Sandra de Sá, Flávio Venturini, Leo Gandelman, Ana Carolina, Paulo Ricardo, Leila Pinheiro, Geraldo Azevedo, Torcuato Mariano, Toninho Horta, Luiz Melodia, Pepeu Gomes, Frejat, Nana Caymmi, Isabella Taviani, Ed Motta, Chris Alessandra, Jay Vaquer, Luiza Possi, Jacqueline Gawler, Fábio Jr. and also Alceu Valenca, to name a few. In 2001, Renato wa invited to record the album MILAGREIRO with the singer/songwriter Djavan. After the recording sessions and the album ready, Renato went on tour with Djavan, and bacame an official musician in his band. Said that, Renato made the following album VAIDADE and is currently on his second tour with the singer.
