I’ll admit that the Paranormal Activity films freak me out more than a generic slasher movie. Anything involving spirits, demons, ghosts, and supernatural elements is always more frightening to me because of that whole “fear of the unknown” element. Now we have the first trailer for a new film called Sinister that, if you’re anything like me, will terrify you exactly how all the best horror movies should: you’re scared to watch, but you can’t look away. The movie stars Ethan Hawke as a family man who moves into a new house where something terrible once happened … but trust me, this looks way scarier than your typical haunted house horror flick. Turn off the lights, crank up your speakers, and check it out below. Just don’t blame me if you have nightmares.
