Sacha Baron Cohen is unquestionably one of the most unique and brilliant comedians on the scene today. His humor somehow manages to be both intelligent and low brow at the same time, which makes the characters he creates a delight to watch. We’re eager to see what he has in store for us this weekend with the release of his latest film, The Dictator. Jasmine Van den Bogaerde, also known as Birdy is a 15-year-old singer from Hampshire, UK who found internet fame when she posted a cover of Bon Iver’s ‘Skinny Love.’ She has since been signed to a major record label and released her first album of cover songs, plus one original.

I really like this covers strategy. It’s obvious we have an extremely talented artist with great taste in music who just hasn’t had enough “life experiences” to write a whole album that matches how evolved her voice is. But, listening to her one original song, “Without A Word” makes you forget how young she is. I’m really looking forward to hearing her next album.
