.. " A lot of young bands fall into the trap of trying to ride the cultural Zeitgeist. It's an easy mistake to make, trying to sound like what people are responding to at any particular moment - Zeahorse aren't one of those bands. Instead they've channelled the spirits of countless experimental art bands, early '90s indie bands....the vocals are abrasive, the guitars squeal, rush and clank and the bass has a thick meaty tone But if you aren't particularly enamoured with abrasive vocals don't fret. There's really a whole lot more instrumental music here than there are vocals. Another thing Zeahorse are doing differently to most new bands is giving their emphatic and confident musicianship plenty of space to breathe.........Zeahorse are live scene regulars and on the strength of this debut, they deserve your support by checking out this album out to" .. - Danielle O'Donohue - Drum Media Album Review .. .. .. .. .. "From the word go, Zeahorse will knock you out. They're pretty much the band many of us have been waiting for since Grafton Primary refused to die. They sneer, they riff, they chug and they solo, recalling a golden age of Australian guitar music that didn't necessarily involve expensive haircuts and post-post-modern video clips. .. Here's a band whose most vital elements come to the fore before you even hear the vocalist; extremely accomplished players who appreciate that a slow build-up and a solid groove can have just as much impact as a four-chord chorus. Sure, there's some moments that scream Nirvana - the brilliant 'Rabbit Hole' amongst them - but they bring a new edge to an old genre by really embracing texture and difference, rather than falling into obvious traps. .. The gorgeously drifting instrumentals are what keep Zeahorse afloat, in addition to the more radio-ready tracks. 'Jesus' is a direct successor to early Jane's Addiction vamp pieces, and 'Sulfur' grows and grows until it's something quite stunning, evil-sounding and minor-chord-heavy as it may be. For those with short attention spans, there's always 'Spider Stole My Fungus' which is so damn catchy that you'd swear they pinched it from Josh Homme. These guys have a formidable live reputation and on the strength of this album, it ain't hard to see why. .. Zeahorse's debut sounds like dark sex in closeted rooms, but there's still plenty of room to breath" .. - Indie Album of The Week - Brag - Jonno Seidler .. .. .. .. ".....For those of you that don't know this band, lets straighten some things out; .. Firstly, you're missing out on a lot. They're a fucking revelation in musical terms, people often try to tell me that they sound like a whole bunch of 'Grunge' and 'Punk' bands from the 1990's (honestly i'm sick of hearing this comparison all the time, you lazy fucks, about any bands, seriously, how about trying to live in the now and not make out that the past was so much better than the present, 'cause it really wasn't and you probably were either too young or too wasted to actually remember!), but I really can only hear Zeahorse when ever i see them play live or listen to their recordings. It's a total journey, from start to finish, great song writers, impeccable players, brutally heavy and beautifully melodic all washed in a psychedelic fog, reminiscent of dropping acid at seven in the morning and wandering around a forest..." .. - by Donovan, Death At Altitude blog .. .. .. ".....bands like Zeahorse should come with a warning along the lines of, 'Danger: do not perform after us.' Their set was so incredibly electric and hectic that any band playing after them would have a hard time, and would probably have to be heavier, feedback-ier, squealier (if those are actually words)....." .. - Evelyn Hotel - Fasterlouder.com.au .. .. .. ".....I love bands like Zeahorse, their whole set kept me excited and wondering what was around the corner. At one point everything was prog, then it was stoner, then it was grunge then there was an erratic even dangerous punk vibe thrown in for good measure, all of which had psychedelic overtones, the latter of which may have something to do with the fact the group formed and grew up in Lismore in northern NSW as I later learned. Although they looked fairly young, I couldn't tell just how old/young they were through all their hair covered faces, but what I could see was pure passion and belief in what they were doing. Zeahorse looked like they were genuinely having the time of their lives on stage tonight, and I have to say I loved every second of it....." .. - UNSW Roundhouse - Dripping Acid Airwaves .. .. .. ".....next band up was Sydney band Zeahorses just off from a tour with Those Crooked Vultures, I can see why Josh Homme would have had these guys support them they have that same stoner classic rock sound to them, they burst through their short set with fiery energy and rocking tunes to smash the crowd apart.....' .. - Front Bar Espy - FasterLouder.com.au -

Hello,
Finally I had the opportunity to be part in an interesting art competition.
In this occasion I decided to show the video titled "regard d'entant" ( Look of a child) .. Here is the link:
http://www.dailymotion.com/contest/parisvisionsrevees/videos#video=xqlg2x (verify that the video is called regard d' enfant)
Let me know what you think about it and feel free to vote for it.
There won't be a cash prize but the winner will have the chance to show its video to a big audience at an art event at the Gite Lyrique.
Thank you for your attention.....Your Sincerely
To see my other work..
