.... O grupo musical Zé Viola progressive band é um projeto idealizado por ANDRÉ NÓBREGA (guitarrista e vocalista) e HELDER LAURENTINO (baixo). A banda tem cerca de três anos e traz nas suas músicas, letras com mensagens que promovem reflexões sobre o cotidiano. Já nos ritmos, a base é o rock dos anos 70 e 80 associados ao sotaque nordestino, porém com uma característica peculiar de acrescentar alguns elementos como o jazz, blues, ritmos brasileiros e principalmente o rock progressivo. .... O nome ZÉ VIOLA vem de uma homenagem aos músicos ZÉ GUILHERME e CHICO VIOLA pela musicalidade e atitude compatíveis com a expressividade regional destes artistas. O fato de serem dois nomes – ZÉ VIOLA - e a extensão final do nome – PROGRESSIVE BAND – são inspirações do rock progressivo e de um dos maiores nomes desse gênero, a banda PINK FLOYD, que o nome é a junção, também, do nome de dois artistas da época admirados pelos integrantes. .... O grupo musical Zé Viola progressive band é um projeto idealizado por ANDRÉ NÓBREGA (guitarrista e vocalista) e HELDER LAURENTINO (Guitarrista e backing vocal). A banda tem cerca de três anos e traz nas suas músicas, letras com mensagens que promovem reflexões sobre o cotidiano. Já nos ritmos, a base é o rock dos anos 70 e 80 associados ao sotaque nordestino, porém com uma característica peculiar de acrescentar alguns elementos como o jazz, blues, ritmos brasileiros e principalmente o rock progressivo.

O nome ZÉ VIOLA vem de uma homenagem aos músicos ZÉ GUILHERME e CHICO VIOLA pela musicalidade e atitude compatíveis com a expressividade regional destes artistas. O fato de serem dois nomes – ZÉ VIOLA - e a extensão final do nome – PROGRESSIVE BAND – são inspirações do rock progressivo e de um dos maiores nomes desse gênero, a banda PINK FLOYD, que o nome é a junção, também, do nome de dois artistas da época admirados pelos integrantes.
